"Wifaq" trains students on excellence skills in field training

The Family Counseling Center “Wifaq” organized a training workshop for a group of field training students who are receiving their field training at the center from Qatar University and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, in the relevant specializations, namely sociology, social service, law, and social work from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. The workshop, which was entitled “Excellence Skills for Field Training,” was presented by Professor Dr. Hamoud Al-Qashaan, Dean of the College of Social Sciences at Kuwait University. It came with the aim of developing and refining skills for excellence in field training, which will contribute significantly to their academic and practical life and will qualify them to work in their field of specialization with a high degree of professionalism and professionalism. Dr. Al-Qashaan reviewed a number of topics, including the first impression in the counseling process, communication problems, characteristics of the counselor, the concept of modern family counseling, pillars of the counseling process, principles of the counseling process, and modern strategies in counseling. It should be noted that the “Wifaq” Center periodically receives field training students from Qatar University and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, where they undergo integrated training programs whose implementation is supervised by specialists from the center.
